Party time

We celebrated Jack's birthday today with some friends and family. I have been trying to post this since last sunday but have been have been unable to get inspired to write anything so I decided to just post some pictures.

Family jam

Most days we have a family jam. Lance gets his guitar, I play the piano and jack grabs something from the music basket. The music basket is full of bells, a xylophone, drums and a cool accordion that sunny gave jack for christmas. Jack also has his own guitar. He lays the neck of the guitar in his lap and strums it. He often writes and performs his own songs too. A  favorite in this house goes like this  Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck  Gooooooooooose uh huh. Today he lined up some of his animal friends to watch

Hi!

Sorry for the long absence! I hope that everyone hasn't given up on us. I have a large backlog of photos  so lets get to it shall we?

I wasn't sure if jack was ready for stringing activities but I thought we would try it out. I didn't want to buy a set of big wooden beads so I bought some pasta and dyed it with food coloring

 He strung the pasta onto some yarn that I had taped one end to the table. On the other end I wrapped some more tape to create a firmer point for stringing. He did a good job! He did need a little help but I think he got the hang of it.
